Chelsea Football Club confirmed the signing of two new players yesterday, Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses but there’s question marks over a few of our current players and I reckon we’ll see a few moved on before the close of the transfer window on Friday.

Greek club Olympiakos want to sign Chelsea duo Yossi Benayoun and Gael Kakuta, and will use the money that they raised from the sale of Kevin Mirallis to David Moyes’ Everton, the Daily Mail reported yesterday.

Benayoun, 32, may be attracted by the deal on offer but he’s having discussions with his wife over his future and they may not want to uproot their family from London. He’s surplus to requirements though and should be the first man out the door followed by Florent Malouda, in my opinion.

In terms of Kakuta, he’s frustrated by the lack of first team football and needs it for his development. He’s a talented lad and I’ve certainly not given up on him and would rather he was loaned out to the likes of Marseille or Lyon, but will understand if he did want a permanent move away. Cannot see him being tempted by Olympiakos though.

As an aside, seeing as I mentioned him earlier, I don’t think Malouda is part of the manager’s plans and it’s likely that he’s been told he could leave too. He’s a player that has enjoyed some good moments in a Chelsea shirt but seems uninterested most of the time these days and he’s a player that many would be happy to see the back of, I’m guessing. It would seem as though his own wage demands are a huge stumbling block in his search for a new club though.

Which players, if any, do you think will be moved on this summer and why? Have your say in the comments section below

Whatever decision d coach is making he is right cos malouda and yossi are old. Am not condenming them cos they ve don great things for our team, Especially malouda. For Kakuta, he should be loaned cos he still young. He can serve us better in the future.
