We’ve seen a few fake mock-ups of next season’s shirts doing the rounds in recent months, some of them were okay and others were bad, but today has seen the official unveiling of Chelsea’s away kit for the 2012-13 season.
Many fans have been giving their opinions on the new shirt on Twitter and various other forums, whether it’s to say they like it, don’t like it or just aren’t fussed either way.
I’ve seen a fair few people saying that they do not like it because the sky blue sash across the front reminds them too much of Manchester City but we had similar coloured tiles on last season’s away shirt and at first glance, I think I prefer this new shirt. I wasn’t too keen on any of the three kits we released last season at first but the white one was a grower in particular, especially as it reminds me of our incredible triumph at the Camp Nou by knocking Barcelona out of the Champions League and qualifying for the final before becoming the champions of Europe.
Not that it will affect the football too much but the home kit is classy in my opinion and this new away one is a decent offering, what do you think? Like it or hate it? – Have your say in the comments section below
