Both Vialli and Gullit enjoyed their own successes at Chelsea as they made the step up from player to manager and will be watching with particular interest in this one as not only will they be supporting their former club, but Roberto Di Matteo, who was also a player at Chelsea in the late 1990s/early 200s.
Vialli guided Chelsea to their most recent European success in 1998 when we won the Cup Winners’ Cup and believes that we can end our long-overdue wait for our first Champions League trophy.
Vialli said:
“Its going to be a tight one but Chelsea can win it as long as Cech is man of the match. He deserves it by the way. What a season!”
Whilst Gullit predicts a narrow win for Chelsea on his Twitter page:
“Tonights game prediction is 1-0 for #Chelsea.”
Not long until kick-off now. Hope you enjoy the game wherever you’re watching it and are getting the beers in.
