When asked if he will decide to turn his back on Bayern he said:
“It is not as if I have to sign a new deal next week… I still have a year on my contract with Bayern so there is no rush. You never know what happens in football – it is often very strange.”
When he was healthy the Dutchman was a star at Chelsea and many regard him as the best player that has left the club during the Roman Abramovich era, and many would love to have him back at the club.
TalkSPORT certainly seem to think that he may return to west London but also said that the Blues may receive competition for Manchester City who are also linked to the player.
