Chelsea will offer €35m for Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas Moura this month, according to reports from Brazil.
The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Brazilian football and already has 10 caps for his country – capturing interest from Liverpool in the progress.
However, it is Chelsea who believe they have the capital to persuade Sao Paulo to sell their star asset in the winter window.
Despite the interest from abroad, Lucas recently hinted that he would like to stay in his homeland until at least the 2014 World Cup.
