Who’d be in your Chelsea XI v Aston Villa?

Chelsea will be hoping to pick up all three points in tomorrow’s game against Aston Villa after drawing their last three games 1-1 on the bounce and maintain their place in the Premier League’s top four.

Andre Villas-Boas will be without Branislav Ivanovic and John Obi Mikel, but both John Terry and Jose Bosingwa have recovered from knocks and will likely start. Ramires has also returned from a one-match suspension.

I’d start this team:

P. Cech

P. Ferreira – D. Luiz – J. Terry – A. Cole

Ramires – O. Romeu – R. Meireles

D. Sturridge – F. Torres – J. Mata

Although Bosingwa has recovered from a minor injury and is available for this match, I’d rather see Paulo Ferreira start in this one as he’s a little more solid defensively and we have another game 48 hours after this one, so have the option to rest one ahead of the trip to Wolves.

The absence of Ramires was glaring on Boxing Day and I expect him to go straight back into the line-up at the expense of Frank Lampard, who hasn’t looked comfortable in our midfield for some time.

As they have to be seen to keep up their witch-hunt the media label Fernando Torres as a poor performer each time he steps onto the field. He still isn’t finding the net but his performance against Fulham wasn’t bad and he made a goal for the team.

I look fwd to a day when Courtois will man the Chelsea post. Cech is seriously on the decline. But 4 dx game, its… Cech… Paulo F… D. Luiz… J. Terry… A. Cole… Ramirez… Oriol… Meireles… Sturr… Torres… Mata.

id like 2 see 4-4-2 cech , ivanovic-luiz-terry-cole sturridge-ramires-meireles-mata , drogba-torres it will never work if we dont try it and if it isnt working can change at halftime , get the best players on the park and see what happens as for the transfer window i think we need a young playmaker like gotze eriksen hamsik pastore lamela iturbe ect and a right back like van der weil or azpilicueta as primary targets !! also any of neymar higuain or hazard would be awesome , up blues 4 2012 ! im sure things will get better after a few new signings to freshen things up !
