Serbian youth international Lazar Markovic has alerted Chelsea by claiming he would like to play for the west London club.
Markovic, just 17, currently plays for Partizan Belgrade but harbours hopes of a move to the Premier League with the youngster identifying Chelsea as his destination of choice.
“Chelsea is the club I love the most, of course after Partizan,” he said.
“I’d like to play there.
“I believe that the best football is in England, that is a type of league that suits me.”
Markovic has made 15 appearances for the Serbian Under-17 team in the past with one cap for the Under-21 side.
