QPR v Chelsea, 16:00

• Frank Lampard’s performance in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Everton has lifted him 3 more places in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, and the much scrutinised England midfielder is now ranked 7th overall

• Lampard supplied the cross for John Terry to head Chelsea’s second goal marking this third assist of the season. Terry is also now the only defender in the Premier League to score two league goals this season

• Lampard also covered more ground than any other player on the pitch against Everton with 12.724km. The only other player to get close was Everton’s Jack Rodwell who covered 12.718km. At 20 years old Rodwell is 13 years Lampard’s junior

• Jon Obi Mikel completed 42 passes in his opponent’s half against Everton, the most that any Chelsea player has completed in a single game this season. That performance saw him rise 13 places to 73rd in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index

• QPR were held to a draw by bottom of the league Blackburn on Saturday

• Joey Barton has spoken out about team mate Adel Taarabt’s impact this season, but Taarabt might feel unlucky. He is yet to score despite 15 shots on target. Barton has had half as many (7) and got his name on the score sheet in the progress. Yet the Moroccan midfielder’s failure to convert chances leaves him down in 276th place in the EA SPORTS Player Performance index. Barton, meanwhile, is now QPR’s top ranked player in 74th place

• QPR’s Luke Young covered the most ground for his team in the Blackburn game with 12.864km. His committed performance has seen him go up 5 places in the index to 87th place

• Young has won 78% of the 23 tackles he has attempted this season and also put in 10 crosses
