Chelsea have been handed a boost as Petr Cech has returned to full training and it’s said that he is recovering ahead of schedule and could even feature in our next game against Sunderland.

The Czech had been ruled out after damaging knee ligaments in a training ground collision last month but is recovering well, which is great news as Henrique Hilario has failed to keep clean sheets in the two matches he has played this season and gifted Norwich a goal following a blunder in Chelsea’s last game…but in fairness, he did also make a few decent saves.

Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas would like to bring Cech back into the fold as soon as possible, but insists that he has faith in all three of his senior keepers:

“Hilario, Ross and Petr have been fantastic throughout all of pre-season and the beginning of the season, so I have confidence in all of the three.”

David Luiz is also available for selection after recovering from a thigh injury and Daniel Sturridge has returned from a three-match suspension.
