Lets start by saying that Modric is a good player and Spurs is a good team with exceptional players like Bale, Van der Vaart and Modric to have a chance to knock on the door of the top five, “IF” they have an exceptional season.
Chelsea does needs a creative midfielder and at least one tricky winger. Why should we waste our time on Modric and even give up Benayoun as makeweight for him when he wasn’t given a fair deal last season when he got injured and he’s been one of our better players in the team at the moment during the preseaon along with Sturridge and McEachran. Sneijder is much more better than Modric in my opinion and he’s also in his prime. If Chelsea wants value for money i think we should get Sneijder by all means necessary and then every team in Europe would fear the Blues just by seeing the talent we have on the field in every department and at our disposal. So I’m begging Chelsea to please sign Sneijder before Man U does. We dont want to lose another fine midfielder and the premier league because of our complacency. Blues 4 ever.
