Milos Krasic had a very influential and excellent first season for Juve last term and has quickly become a fans favourite with the famous old Serie A club. Formerly with CSKA Moscow, the 6’1″ Serbian International is already being likened to another former Juventus great Pavel Nedved.
At 26-years-old Krasic is fast approaching his prime and plays right midfield or on the wing. He is very quick and with a tremendous shot on him he is not only a regular goal scorer but his assist statistics are very impressive. Being a strong running dribbler of the ball with natural attacking instincts Krasic is certainly the type of player AVB would be very interested in and would make a fabulous addition to the Chelsea first team squad.
This coming week will see negotiations between Chelsea and the Bianconeri open but only if Roman Abramovich decides to make the cash offer (as well as Alex) tempting enough for the Italians. This transfer window could still hold a couple of surprises for the Chelsea faithful with the imminent signing of Romelu Lukaku as well as one or two other players before the window closes. At the moment Krasic is a definite possibility.
With the sale of Yury Zhirkov Chelsea are looking particularly and decidedly ‘light’ in the wide left position with only Florent Malouda to speak of. Could it be that the club go back to consider Guus Hiddink’s original recommendation of Arden Turan of Galatasary as well? Then of course the club have not given up with the ongoing saga that is Luka Modric.
I’m now not only looking forward to the Stoke game but also the close of this transfer window to see who we have finally got and who is being released.
