Aston Villa and Everton are both interested in Chelsea’s Salomon Kalou, according to Fanatix.

New Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is keen on re-jigging his striking options with Porto’s Radamel Falcao linked with a £26m switch. This would push Kalou further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Aston Villa are looking to replace Ashley Young who joined Manchester United earlier this summer and could see Kalou as someone who could slot into the vacant wide role.

Everton manager David Moyes is also keen on Kalou but reports suggest that the Ivory Coast international would favour a move to Aston Villa.
