Reports coming out of Italy over the last 36 hours say that Sanchez is now realistically being seriously courted by Barca, United and Chelsea.

The Udinese president has been reported as saying that currently the Barca offer is the most interesting one. This is because Barca are offering cash plus a choice of three of their fringe players. I believe that Udinese would rather have the cash as they seem to have a knack of picking up relatively cheap gems from South America and developing them themselves.

As Sanchez can play on either wing or in the middle off of the striker/strikers I firmly believe he would be the real answer to getting Drogs and Torres playing together. He is so quick and strong with a relatively low centre of gravity (remind you of anyone?), and can tear defences apart with his lightening quick runs. His balance and speed are phenomenal and he is the main reason, in my honest opinion, that Udinese qualified for the CL in Serie A just this last season gone.

As we would be buying three players in one (winger on either side, the playmaker to get Drogs AND Torres firing together, plus individual brilliant player in his own right) I really do believe Roma should go ALL OUT to acquire his services whatever the cost. At only 23 he has years of great football ahead of him. Barca are cash poor (even poorer if they buy Fabregas) and we know we can outbid United. This is set up for a Roman special, I just hope his advisers aren’t on holiday and are fully awake to this wonderful opportunity.

If Chelsea could get Sneider AND Sanchez into the same team under Guus Hiddink they may as well give Chelsea next season’s title now! Also, what a great team we could put out to go up against that current Barcelona side for an epic CL meet. It’s the stuff dreams are made but a real possibility for Chelsea fans as Roman continues to strive to bring real sexy football to the Bridge.
