Lucas Piazon will join Andre Villas-Boas’ Chelsea squad in January and was in action for Brazil against Ecuador at the Under-17 World Championship on Wednesday night for us to have a glimpse of what he can do.

The 17-year-old scored and made a goal in his previous match against the Ivory Coast and although he didn’t repeat that performance as well against Ecuador, he showed some promise on the left side and enjoyed a good 45-or-so minutes as Brazil ran out 2-0 winners.

Watch the video below to see highlights of Piazon’s performance against Ecuador on Wednesday night…

Although he doesn’t join until January 2012, Piazon is just one of the promising young talents at Chelsea competing in the tournament, as England’s Nathan Chalobah has been impressing too and got on the score sheet during the Three Lions’ 2-0 win over Uruguay and will be in action again tonight as England take on Argentina in the final 16 at 21:00 BST.
