Vickery: Chelsea target in no rush to leave Brazil

South American football expert Tim Vickery has told the likes of Talksport and Sky Sports news that Stantos forward Neymar, who is a Chelsea target, is in no rush to leave his current club.

Rumours circulated yesterday that the Brazilian had signed a deal with Real Madrid, but it could be that neither Real nor Chelsea will secure his services this summer.

Vickery says that the player is happy where he is and currently happy where he is and concentrating on the Copa Libertadores, the first leg of which kicks off tonight, and believes that Neymar would fancy a crack at the World Club Cup and the chance to take on Barcelona should Santos win the Libertadores.

Would seem logical from his own point of view if Neymar stays where he is for now, but many will hope to see him in Chelsea blue in future. Should the Blues be thinking about an alternative for the moment?
