  1. this salary is too much for torres bcos he worths noting and he suppose to cost noting.for others,it’s ok bcos every body can see it that they are relly working in there respective club.so they worth wot they are earning.

    • Anthony Williams says:

Torres hasn’t fired on the field yet (he will), but he’s worth it on his commercial worth alone and his name is worth a fortune to the club.

  2. patmos says:

    torres worth it

  3. MOUSEY says:

TORRES IS NOT WORTH IT DROGBA IS WORTHY OF GETTING THAT

    • Anthony Williams says:

I bet Torres scores more goals than Drogba next season.

  4. shaina says:

torres should put effort to justify the salary in the coming season.

  5. Mone oris says:

Torres na money miss road, because players like Agali and Yakubu of nigeria are better than him. Abeg make torres pack him face.

    • ejisco madu says:

Don’t worry ,u will soon see torres magic next season.

  6. bond says:

For Torres to do that some Ivorian untouchable needs to be sold and he misses the real service from Midfield like his days at anfield eg Xabi ALONSO sTEVIE G, and kuyt

  7. Ash says:

I fail to understand why Chelsea love to pay such huge sums for players?? The Torres deal-yes he might score in every match next season but still 50 mill is way too steep. Even the targets lined up for next season seem to have astronomically inflated amounts attached to them inspite of being unproven in the league. Ridiculous gambles that could very well flop.

    • Anthony Williams says:

He’s got an incredible amount of commercial value and I think the club owns his image rights. He’s the most recognisable face in the Premier League and has probably made more than that for the club already.

I don’t think any new signings would be on Terry, Lampard or Drogba wages. Maybe Neymar, who is expected to become a global brand as the next big thing…or that’s what people are hoping for him, anyway.

      • Ash says:

Why should any of these new signings be on Lampard,Terry and Drogba wages??They have yet to achieve anything in a BLUE shirt and yet right off the bat they are paid mind boggling wages. Which is why I was wondering whether only Man U(hernandez) and Liverpool(suarez) can get the bargain buys and how come Chelsea fail to do so?

      • ejisco madu says:

Your very very correct…doubters will feel him next season.

  8. Leachster says:

That list is wrong! David Beckham isn’t on it and his salary is massive.

  9. Truecfc says:

as if…. Stop with the bullshit people, Chelsea is the only team who have the money and don’t throw it away on player’s monthly pay, fernando torres recieves £10,000 more than John Terry, he recieves £160,000 a week, so technically he does not recieve more than yaya toure as yaya toure recieves £375,000 a week…
