So it seems all but certain Guus Hiddink is ready to exit his post as Turkey’s boss and looks set to be heading back to the Bridge.

It appears Manchester United’s plans of bringing Wesley Sneijder to the club are up in smoke as Chelsea’s soon to be new gaffer has sparked a rivalry with Fergie before even touching English soil as he has indicated the Dutch maestro is his number one target.

With Scholes retiring, and Giggs nearing the end, the Champions have been heavily linked with Sneijder as the perfect replacement and are believed to be ‘confident’ of landing their man for £30 million.

According to Mirror Football Hiddink has urged Roman Abramovich to swipe the world cup star, even despite an on-going dispute over the £4 million compensation that the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) are demanding to relieve him from his duties as the Country’s head coach. You have to feel that’s peanuts for the Russian Billionaire to land his dream leader, and it will only be a matter of time.

An insider from the TFF said…

“Chelsea is too good an offer to turn down and the TFF understands this. We’ll understand he’s coached his last Turkey game – as long as Chelsea pay the compensation.”

The Daily Mail have also reported the Dutchman has told the club (Chelsea) to outbid Manchester United and City for his compatriot

The technical attacking midfielder is regarded as one of the best in the world and as the 26 year old superstar looks towards adding the premiership tittle to his already gleaming C.V that boasts three domestic titles in three different countries, a Champion’s league winners medal ,a World cup runner up, and on and on.

It looks as though a real dog fight is on the cards to offer the exciting talent a more appealing contract, but maybe the Dutch connection with Hiddink could prove vital in Sneijder’s decision. It is certainly looking likely he will be helping spearhead one of the two powerhouses to success next season, as he is set to leave Inter this summer.
