The title race has taken a significant twist this weekend after Chelsea’s late winner against Tottenham yesterday and Manchester United’s loss against Arsenal in north London today.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side will play against the Red Devils at Old Trafford next weekend knowing that a win would put his side at the top of the Premier League by virtue of goal difference, and would put them in the driving seat for the final two games.

The Blues found themselves in a situation where they had to win on United’s turf last season, so who’s to say that we can’t go there and do the job again, especially as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side still has a Champions League semi-final to negotiate, even if it is a comfortable one.

Manchester United are still favourites for the title, but nobody was given Chelsea a chance to retain their title a few months ago, can they defy their critics once more?

Never thought I’d say this (not since October it seems)…but we control our own destiny now. Three wins and we retain the trophy.

For the record….I’m going to be a nervous wreck for the next 3 weeks.

Only a very few die hards would have believed this a month ago. It’s a game we can win. I hope Carlo has learned the lessons from the CL games. David Luiz will be available for this one which is a bonus for us. We have to start 4-3-3 with Drogba, Malouda and Kalou. We also need to play Mikel sat in behind Lampard and Ramires/ Essien. Shades of this time last year when needed a win up there and came away with it. Let’s hope our luck doesn’t run out! I hate to say this but if it does go down to goal difference we could lose out. It’s not quite in our hands. All we can do is win all our remaining games and see what happens. Its gunna be some game next week.
