Time to rally the troops ahead of Champions League quarter-final clash

There seems to be a lot of talk from Chelsea fans at the moment as to who we should buy (and sell) this summer. We all have our varying opinions but one thing is for sure……. we enter the next round of the Champions league against Manchester United with the squad of players that we presently have and no one else!

This is when we ALL come together and wish Carlo Ancelotti and whoever he picks in the team and for the bench all the very best of luck and to go out there and do us and our club proud. Many of our players have a score to settle with United in this competition and I for one would love to see the likes of Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Michael Essien, Ashley Cole and Petr Cech put in the performances of their careers so far.

As an aside, I was astonished to read how Chelsea have more tickets for sale for our Stamford Bridge leg against United as the Reds have not sold their allocation? Tickets are available to Chelsea season ticket holders at the box office from Tuesday morning (so I am led to believe). Whatever happened to the mighty Reds claiming they are the best supported club in the World?

Let’s ALL get behind the lads and make Stamford Bridge a cauldron of sound (including the east and west stands) so that we give Sir Alex Ferguson something else to think about other than how ‘lucky’ Chelsea have been against his United team. The man really does deserve an excellent performance from Chelsea to shove his comments back down his throat.

As for Wayne Rooney’s two match ban for his foul mouthed outburst at Upton Park and Fergie’s ‘outrage’, I don’t recall too much support from the likes of United when Drogs received his THREE game ban following our being cheated out of the competition against Barca by a certain Scandinavian so called referee!

KTBFFH!
