Is Carlo nearing the end of his time at Chelsea?

Chelsea suffered another disappointing result in the Premier League this week. Following the disastrous home defeat to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, the Blues were unable to find a way past Fulham at Craven Cottage and had to rely on their goalkeeper Petr Cech to save a penalty from Clint Dempsey and earn a point. The draw leaves Chelsea lying 5th in the Premier League table, all but out of the title race and with a real battle on their hands to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League. It looked like Chelsea had turned the corner with a couple of good performances, but Carlo Ancelotti’s men have returned to their slump; so should the Italian be relieved of his duties at Stamford Bridge?

bet365 have just settled Chelsea’s points total for the season after the Blues drew 0-0 with Fulham on Monday night. bet365 spokesman said Steve Freeth:

“Chelsea are in danger of finishing the season with a whimper and that’s summed up by the fact we’ve already settled their Premier League points total for the season (under 82, 11/10) – in the middle of February.”

The firm are 1/3 about Carlo Ancelotti departing Stamford Bridge before the start of the 2011/12 campaign and Didier Drogba is 1/2 to pack his bags by the end of the summer Transfer Window.

So do you think it is time for Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure at Chelsea to come to an end? And with the arrival of Fernando Torres, will this prove to be Didier Drogba’s last season in the Premier League with the Blues?
