Italian super agent Ernesto Bronzetti believes that Brazilian playmaker Kaka has a ‘90 per cent chance of going to Chelsea,’ if he leaves Real Madrid in June.

Kaka has been heavily linked with Inter Milan of late, but Bronzetti says that a move to London is much more likely:

“If he were to leave in June, he has a 90 per cent chance of going to Chelsea and not Inter.”

The former AC Milan man has not yet featured for Los Blancos this season as he has been recovering from knee surgery, but the summer arrival of Mesut Ozil is likely to limit his first team opportunities and many believe that Kaka could be heading for the exit doors at the Bernabeu.

Reports suggest that Florentino Perez won’t anything less than £43 million for a player they paid £56 million to acquire.

But is Kaka someone who we would really want to be shelling out a ridiculous sum of money for?

It seems daft that we would pass up the opportunity to sign a former world player of the year, but Kaka is now 28-years-old and some would be worried about the effects of his recent injuries on his long term fitness.

The playmaker only played 33 games for Real Madrid last season, scoring 9 goals and laying on 8 assists – which is not a bad return considering his time in Madrid has been blighted by injury, but I can’t see what we would gain by signing him now and would rather see us go for Someone like Javier Pastore or even Ganso, who has been dubbed ‘the next Kaka’.

It is only natural that we will be linked with Kaka as it is believed that Roman Abramovich is an admirer of the player and some argue that Carlo Ancelotti, Kaka’s manager at AC Milan, can help him get back to his best and once again produce the sort of form that the fans at the San Siro were used to seeing on a regular basis.

I think this rumour is a non-starter, but would you like to see Kaka at Chelsea?
