According to the London Evening Standard, Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is the subject of a bid from Bournemouth…

The goalkeeper has largely taken a backseat at Stamford Bridge since his arrival, with Thibaut Courtois typically preferred in between the sticks for the Blues.

It is a shame, too, considering how impressive Begovic is a goalkeeper. Signed from Stoke in 2014, Begovic had made a name for himself in the Premier League as a stellar Premier League shot-stopper, and he was always expected to at the very least challenge for a position in the first team.

In reality, though, Courtois has often demanded a starting berth – and Antonio Conte, as the managers before him, have seen fit to give it to him.

Chelsea are, reportedly, considering allowing Begovic to leave, which could leave Chelsea in a bit of a perilous position. If he does go, Chelsea will undoubtedly need to consider signing a replacement – and it is a position that is notoriously difficult to find solutions for.

The good news for Antonio Conte is that we’ve got his back – and we’ve found a few options for the Italian.

With that said, these 2 players would be perfect for Chelsea if the 29-year-old leaves…
