Jose Mourinho would not sell goalkeeper Petr Cech to Premier League rivals Arsenal, according to former Chelsea shot-stopper Mark Bosnich.

The veteran Czech recently hinted that his future lies away from Stamford Bridge after falling behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order in West London this season.

Mourinho is thought to have slapped a hefty £20 million price-tag on the 32-year-old but speculation continues to grow that the Gunners may be tempted to sign him.

However, Bosnich says that the Portuguese manager will be reluctant to strengthen Chelsea’s London rivals by doing business.

“You don’t win anything without a great goalkeeper and that will be in the back of Arsene Wenger’s mind,” Bosnich, who spent two years at the club, told talkSPORT.

“But I don’t think [Mourinho] would sell him to Arsenal because I think that would really tip the scales towards Arsenal.”

Should Chelsea block Arsenal’s prospective move for Cech? Let us know below.
