Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is readying a £50 million bid for Everton star Ross Barkley, according to reports.
Barkley, 21, has emerged as one of England’s finest young talents in recent years but has struggled for form this season, having netted just twice in 30 appearances.
However, Mourinho remains unperturbed by the youngster’s form and will lodge a big-money bid this summer, The Metro reports.
Manchester City are also long-term admirers of Barkley, whose contract expires in 2018.
