Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a £10 million summer move for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.

The former Arsenal man has re-emerged as a fine talent in a season-long loan at West Ham United, having previously failed to make the grade at Camp Nou.

Despite impressing in East London, the Hammers are not thought to be keen on making the move permanent and, according to Spanish publication Sport, the Blues will take him off Barca’s hands.

Manager Jose Mourinho is understood to be keen on using the Cameroon international as an alternative to Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic.

What say you Chelsea fans? Would you like to see Song at the Bridge next season? Let us know in the comments below.
