Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that he is enjoying the best time of his career in West London.

The Spanish schemer bagged 19 assists in his first 31 games for the club following his summer move from Barcelona, but has created just one goal in his last 11 outings.

There have since been suggestions that the former Arsenal captain struggles in the second half of the seasn, but Fabregas has insisted that he is more than happy with his performances.

“I’m going through a time in my life where I enjoy everything I do,” he told the Evening Standard.

“I’m playing almost every minute of every match [with Chelsea] and that’s what makes me happy. To matter in the game is fundamental. Now we have to fight hard to win the Premier League and make this season a great year.

“We still have the chance to win the double [Capital One Cup and Premier League], and for that reason we cannot relax for a moment.”
