Chelsea have completed the signing of Danilo Pantic from Partizan Belgrade, in a deal worth £1.25million.
The midfielder has been closely monitored by Blues scouts over the past few months, and reports earlier in the week suggested that the deal was close to completion.
The Serbian youth international has confirmed that the move is completed and that he will move on loan to Chelsea’s feeder club Vitesse in the Eredivise of Netherlands, for the remainder of the season.
‘As an 18-year-old it’s hard to get a chance at Chelsea straight away,’ he said about the move.
‘I already know a lot about Vitesse. It’s a big club where many young players play and games will be played offensively.
‘If I play well at Vitesse, then I will go back to Chelsea.’
