Chelsea are preparing a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, according to reports from Spain.

The German international was a mainstay of the Real Madrid side last season but has found his opportunities more limited this season following the arrival of Fabio Coentrao.

This has alerted Chelsea who believe they may be able to tempt Khedira with a move to Stamford Bridge.

However, the central midfielder would also face stiff competition at Chelsea with Raul Meireles, Frank Lampard, Ramires and John Obi Mikel all vying for starting spots.

    U welcome

I think chelsea are going to far in signing midfilders, arleady they have enough of them likes of Mikel, Josh, Remeo,Raul, lampard, Essien and Ramires.
Its high time they now consider sign defenders.

  3. Zuto says:

I think we have enough midfielders, let’s sign one more defender and i suggest Cahill or Vandawiel

  4. Edoja says:

I see no need for a defensive midfielder like Khedira when we have loads of options there-Mikel,Romeu,Ramires,Essien and even Meireles already fits in. I would rather we focus on getting a world-class right winger like Eden Hazard and a right-side defender like Gregory Wiel.

  5. Sylvanus says:

I dont buy the idea of getting khedira. Lets look for one sharp striker and two defenders

  6. As for me. I dont think we need him. We need sharp right winger and right back
