Former Tottenham Hotspur youngster Adel Taarabt has admitted that he is being chased by both Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Moroccan international was a pivotal figure for QPR in their pursuit of the 2010/11 Championship title and the winger was even handed the captaincy at Loftus Road by boss Neil Warnock.

However, despite saying he would like to stay in London, Taarabt concedes both Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in his services.

Taarabt told L’Equipe:

“QPR are demanding £10million for me, and for now, clubs aren’t moving too much.

“I’ve had contact with Arsenal and Chelsea, but it’s a bit of a mess.

“Arsenal haven’t yet sold Fabregas, and Chelsea don’t have a manager, but I’d like to stay in London. It’s the best city in the world.”

Despite once playing for Tottenham, Taarabt has said in the past that he wished he had joined rivals Arsenal instead.
