Last night’s 0-0 encounter against FC Copenhagen was not the most thrilling of games I have ever seen, but the important thing is that Chelsea are through to the quarter-finals along with Barcelona, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Schalke, Shakhtar and Tottenham.

On Friday we will find out which one of the above sides we will be up against in the quarter-final, as well as finding out which side of the draw we would be in should we reach the semis. Who would you like to see us get in the draw, and who would you like to avoid?

    Interesting to see NOBODY wants to draw Spurs. Same here, even though I feel confident of beating Spurs whenever we play them, I’ve just got this nasty feeling about coming up against them in the CL. Getting knocked out by Spurs would be especially bitter pill to swallow.

      It most certainly would. They’ve already gone further than people expected and like Shakhtar, they’ll likely just go for it as they’re playing without as much pressure than the more seasoned Champions League sides.

    I would prefer Bacelonal in quarter final, Inter in semi-final and Manchester United in final. With these draws the Trophy will have so much glory if Won by Chelsea fc.

      haha, very ambitious. It’s a cliche to say, but it’s true that we can beat any of those sides on our day and someone like Barca would hope to avoid the likes of Chelsea.

    chealsea is easy-peasy….they cudnt score against Copenhagen at home. I’m sure even Schalke mus b hoping for Chelsea. Real will be the team to beat next round.

      It wasn’t a good performance by any stretch, but didn’t need to be if you consider we came into the game 2-0 up, with an eye on a more important game against Manchester City on Sunday. Context.

    I dont mind Spurs. Pretty confident of beating them over 2 legs simply cos theyre an english team. Cant explain it.
