Chelsea are preparing to use striker Nicolas Anelka as bait in order to land Atletico Madrid superstar Sergio Aguero.
The Argentina international is looking to establish a fresh start elsewhere, despite having signed a contract extension in January.
Spanish newspaper AS claim that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is willing to offer £25m plus ageing forward Nicolas Anelka in a part-exchange package for Aguero.
Aguero has scored 15 goals in 28 appearances so far for Atletico this season.

anelka will refuse to go. he wants to run down his contract & go to america. he’ll go out on loan next year is my guess…then be off to the us in the summer.
