After a few years of frugal spending in the transfer market, Roman Abramovich got his chequebook out once again last month to sign Fernando Torres and David Luiz, which has led the transfer rumour mill expecting more high profile arrivals in the summer.

The Sunday Express believes that Chelsea’s Russian owner will sanction a £30m bid for Brazilian teenager Neymar, who the Blues tried and failed to sign from Santon six months ago.

Neymar, 19, seems to be a bit of a flaky character and has something of an attitude problem, but is certainly an exciting prospect with bags of potential. The Blues already possess a Brazilian contingent at Stamford Bridge, with Alex, David Luiz and Ramires in the squad, which could help the youngster to settle in London, if he decided make the switch.

Yes I would like to see him in blue once he gains 30 pounds so he can out muscle defenders or he’ll be knocked off easily by the English players.

    • John smith says:

I would like to see neymer in chelsea wear so that he will have the best player of the year at stamford bridge

  2. Faruq says:

If they can convince him to come stamford bridge it will be a big addition to the squad.

  3. Gary says:

If Abramovich wants a dynamic team for years to come two things must happen. First he must replace his aging players with others in the 20 to 23 age bracket. David Luiz and Ramires are good examples. They are already so much faster than the rest of the team. Second he must remove Ancelotti and bring in Mourinho. This will not only be a big hit with all the fans, it will also restore Chelsea’s ability to win the league with consistency. Neymar? Yes, he’s the perfect age.

I would like to see him in chelsea bcos he full of great potentials&skills

  5. Mike says:

I agree with chelseaphan, he is a bit too lightweight in my opinion and can see him throwing his toys out the pram. Think Lukaku would be a better option, big, strong, fast and can score, think we should get a good play maker or 2 in mid and let him do his job up front, think Lamps time is coming to an end in that department.

  6. Neymar should be a good signing if they finally confused. But the price tag place on him is too much.

  7. sammie says:

    • sammie says:

watching this guy play excites me,but what excites me the most is his ability to score despite is great dribbling and trickling skills.

  8. jake says:

I think the prices on the young unproven players is getting too steep. However a pacey wing player is something we need. Adding neymar and lakuka would give us years of not having to spend in transfer markets. I don’t see how you would think mourinho would be brought back

  9. jake says:

since he was let go because of the style of play. Its not ancelottis fault that the players aren’t performing

  10. Tooclean says:

Neymar to chelsea will be very good inclusion.the guy is pacey,& also trickish in his dribbling ability, that’s what has eluded us for a long time now.He should come lets boundle Drogba back to Marcel, he is old, weak § tired.we need some young § energitic strickers. Up Chelsea till I die.
